TDC started, in its current form, on March 3rd with the release of the Top 30 Unsigned list. That was our statement to the world, that these bands deserve recognition. Since then, the site has attained amazing attention from fans, bands and the music industry.

TDC is completely dedicated to independent bands and unsigned bands. The staff of TDC do things for the right reasons. We do it because we truly love music and love helping bands.

Below is the staff of TDC. These are the people that make it run. These are the people that make it breathe. These are the people that change lives.

Tim Towner

Site Creator/Freelance A&R
Location: Tempe, AZ
Email: tim@thedailychorus.com
AIM: thedailychorus or GreeleyDays
MySpace: www.myspace.com/thedailychorus (I don't have a personal one)
Bands that influenced me: Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, The Afghan Whigs, Vendetta Red

My music business experience: I literally went from a server at California Pizza Kitchen to booking a full U.S. tour with Greeley Estates, My American Heart, For Felix and Gym Class Heroes, overnight (2004).

I spent almost 4 years building with Greeley Estates, from a local band to playing main stage on Warped Tour. I also worked for SmartPunk, during Warped '06.

What makes TDC different: I started the site for the love of music. I know you've heard that before but I really go out of my way to help bands, fans of music and the staff at TDC. I don't get paid to send bands to A&R scouts. I don't get paid to put bands on the site. I do it because I love music and want to help.

Everyone that is on staff at TDC has the same commitment. We try to remain unbiased and expose bands that have worked hard and/or have the talent to take it to the next level and influence people in a positive manner.

I try to answer all my emails and MySpace messages. It's hard but I try. If you don't hear from me after a week or two, email me again. I know what its like not receiving a response from people.

I have toured for a few years and I met some really awesome people in every city. I can't thank you enough for supporting me with this new project. And to the people I never met, I hope to, one day.

What is your goal by being apart of TDC: My goal is to change lives, with this site. To make a difference in the music industry and in everyday life. I might sound like I'm in a beauty pagent but that is my honest answer.

Also, send me bands!

Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/justinryan
Bands that influence you: Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, Jawbreaker, The Get Up Kids, etc
What makes TDC different: It's a site run on passion, honesty, and pure love for music. It's not about money, fame, or anything else that some other sites are.
What is your goal by being apart of TDC: To expose people to bands and artists that they never would have heard of before. To help bands I truely believe in. To help change an industry that badly needs it.

Bands that influence you: At The Drive-In, Q and not U, Minus The Bear, Damiera, Botch.
What makes TDC different: This is a website that is completely directed toward up-and-coming bands and isn't looking to make a buck with everything they do. This is a RARE thing to find in the world today especially in the music industry.
What is your goal by being apart of TDC: I hope to get to review some great unsigned bands, have my ears opened to great music I wouldn't otherwise haveheard, and actively participate in making a difference in independent music.
